Terms of use

Your access to and use of this website constitutes your agreement to these terms of use and to the conditions and disclaimers set out in this document. We may modify these terms at any time, and any changes will be published on this site. Please check this page from time to time to stay aware of the current terms.

Our approach to privacy

Leadium is a small business and is not currently required to comply with the Privacy Act 1988. We have chosen to handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as a matter of good practice, because we take the trust you place in us seriously.

The personal information we collect

Depending on how you engage with us, the personal information we collect may include your:

  • name
  • email address
  • telephone and mobile number
  • postal address
  • organisation and role
  • responses to program assessments, such as the executive presence self-assessment
  • your participation and progress across a program

We collect only the information we reasonably need to provide our services.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you, for example when you enrol in a program, register on our website, complete a form or assessment, or subscribe to our updates. If you enrol as part of an organisation's cohort, we collect your details directly from you at registration.

Why we collect and use it

We use your personal information to:

  • enrol you and deliver the program and its materials
  • communicate with you about your program, including scheduling and access
  • provide relevant program and course information
  • understand and improve our programs, at a group level

Marketing communications and your consent

With your consent, we send program and marketing communications by email and SMS. You can withdraw your consent or opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying with "stop" to any SMS, or by contacting us. Some messages are essential to running a program you are enrolled in, such as scheduling and access details, and these continue while you are enrolled.

Who we disclose it to

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us deliver our programs and run our business, and only for that purpose. These include our course and membership platform, email and SMS tools, survey tool, and payment and accounting providers. We may also disclose personal information where we are required or authorised by law, or where there is a serious risk to someone's life, health or safety.

Storage outside Australia

Some of the service providers we use store data on servers outside Australia. By providing your personal information, you acknowledge that these providers may store or handle it overseas. We take reasonable steps to use providers that protect your information to a standard consistent with this policy.

Your program assessments

Where a program includes an assessment, such as the executive presence self-assessment, we use your individual responses to build a group picture that we share with your cohort. We do not publish individual scores publicly.

Website and cookies

When you visit our website, our servers automatically record standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time spent on them. We use this information in aggregate to understand and improve our site. We use cookies for website analytics, and may use cookies or pixels to measure and improve our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can learn about your online advertising choices at the Digital Advertising Alliance (youradchoices.com).

Security of your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including restricting access, maintaining appropriate technology to prevent unauthorised access, and securely destroying or de-identifying it when it is no longer needed.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and business record-keeping obligations, after which we securely destroy or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed. Contact us at hello@leadium.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, or you are unhappy with how we have dealt with a request, please contact us at hello@leadium.com.au. We take complaints seriously and will work with you to resolve the matter. You are also free to seek independent advice about your privacy rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish any changes on this page, with the revision date below.
